This registered charity, founded by the late Mrs. Kath Davies and Mr. E.D.Davies, whose aim is to save and find homes for as many unwanted pets as possible. Over 30,000 have been found new homes during the last 30 years. Many of these animals may otherwise have been destroyed.

No healthy animal is ever destroyed. More than 400 animals and birds have found permanent homes at the sanctuary.

The cost of running the sanctuary, the permanent staff, the feeding and housing of the animals, and finding them suitable new homes, is enormous and ever increasing. The continued existence of the sanctuary rests entirely upon voluntary donations, fundraising, wills and bequests.

It costs approximately £2,000 a week to keep the sanctuary running.
